Jule M. Oberski
March 23, 1922 - February 24, 2017
Jule M. Oberski, 94 of Ida, MI, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2017, at Genesis Health Care, Sylvania Center. Born March 23, 1922, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of William and Gladys (Tuttle) Gensler. A 1940 graduate of Dundee High School, she married Theodore Oberski on July 13, 1940, in Ida, MI. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2012 after 72 years of marriage. Jule enjoyed being a mother and home maker, and being the church organist and choir director at Lulu Methodist Church. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ida, MI.
She is survived by her loving children, Karen (Bob) Wilson of Winona Lake, IN, Cynthia (Dennis) Brunt of Toccoa, GA and Daniel (Kathy) Oberski of Toledo, OH; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dale and Richard Gensler and sister, Marjorie Wood.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:30 am, Monday, February 27, 2017, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 11:30 am. Interment will be private at Lulu Cemetery, Ida, MI.
